Outdoor Decor for the 4th of July

June 30, 2018

Always a fun time of the year! Hosting a festive Independence Day party? You’ve set the menu, but now is the time to get ready for the decor.  Add that extra touch from napkin rings to chargers.

The right plates are a must.  Whether you are looking for convenience or a bit more formal, the pop of color to the ceramic or plastic plate is always fun! These cute Gibson® ware dishes are great for entertaining, plus a great value from Bed Bath and Beyond. Plus, they are great to have to any birthday or holiday gathering.

Festive holiday chargers are also an easy way to create a great look for your holiday table.  Many only use them for formal dining, however they are perfect for plasticware as well.  You can go with the traditional indigo blue hues to the baby blues and even aqua to keep it in line with the 4th of July.

An finally, those centerpieces… instead of the stereotypical red, white and blue carnations, get a little more creative.  Long-stem taper candles are always fun and unexpected.  But here’s an idea that is also a fun DYI practical, yet fun idea.  Try natural citronella jars.  Tint with a dot of red food coloring too.  Check out the great recipe here by Organic Aromas. The floating candles are fun and the contents are a nice touch – plus keep those pesky mosquitoes away too!

From all of us at ShoreCoasterz.  We wish you a fun-filled and safe 4th of July Holiday!
